CHANGE!

THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE! 
I am no longer a 4th grade teacher! BUT I AM A 1ST GRADE TEACHER!!!
I get to be at the school I interned for! Teaching 1st grade! I am so excited! This is truly a dream come true! I just love the little ones!

So now that I have known that for a week, I have been busy collecting and creating things for my adorable classroom! I even got to go and put a bin in there last Tuesday! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! :)

Something else that is pretty cool is that my best friend got hired there as well! She's TEACHING 3rd! So we shall begin our 1st year teaching adventure together! I am beyond excited and thankful!
With that being said...

I need to get more organized. I am going to make a check list with all the materials I already have to figure what else I am going to need!
I am hoping to get into my classroom this week a little to at least clean out my room and storage unit!

I will post pics of my cute empty classroom SOON!

Have I mentioned how excited I am?
Right now I am working on my Brain Breaks, and my Pick Me Jars! Along with library labels...

Vacation

Right now I am on vacation and loving it!! Wisconsin is beautiful!! <3

Saturday we had a family's reunion Jamaican style!

My God is FAITHFUL!

I just feel the need to let you all know how FAITHFUL GOD IS! There is a reason for everything and I have comfort in knowing he has a plan! So as I am leaving for vacation tomorrow I am going to leave all my stresses and worries behind. I am going to give them ALL to him and know HE WILL TAKE CARE OF ME! 

In the meantime, I am thinking positively!

Tropical Storm and I am...

CRAFTING! When I should be cleaning, but I cannot help it! I JUST CANNOT WAIT TO BE A TEACHER!

I found these at Target tonight. They are in my classroom colors and cute! I was thinking maybe for my reading center? They aren't cozy looking but I am on the hunt for beanbags and a big pillow thing to add to it... They are under 10.00!
Still looking! :) but these are definitely on my mind!

I DID IT!

I GOT A JOB!
I am now going to be a 4th grade teacher at Calusa Elementary School! I am going to be a FIREHAWK! :)

Words cannot even describe how excited I am!!


Now i must find a cheap chair or rocking chair at a garage sale and paint it for my classroom!

Crafting!

I am creating and crafting! I had my dream interview today, now just waiting for the results!
